New sellers in collectibles, cards and similar categories keep asking why LIVE auction access is missing. The short version is that TikTok sets numeric eligibility rules, and a new shop usually has not earned the scores yet.
TikTok also says sellers and creators can lose eligibility if they commit off-platform violations or are assessed as excessively risky, and that existing access can be revoked at any time. Eligibility has to be maintained, not just reached once.
Official Shop and Marketing creators need a Creator Health Score above 150, no active LIVE ban or temporary suspension, no recent serious violations, and a linked store that meets all the seller requirements. Affiliate creators need the same health score and clean record plus a Promotion Performance Score above 3.5. New creators without a score are assessed on their LIVE promotion performance over the last 30 days.
When a violation involves both an affiliate and the supplying seller, both can face enforcement. Do not treat a partner's LIVE as someone else's risk.
If your shop has no sales history, expect the Shop Performance Score to be Null, and expect countdown bidding to stay closed until you build one. The cited rules do not offer a paid shortcut around the score requirement.
Before every LIVE, make sure the product page, the physical item and the inventory agree. TikTok lists accurate display of products and defects, no false promotion and no bidding manipulation as policy.

TikTok says countdown bidding requires a Shop Performance Score of 3.5 or higher and that a Null score will not open it. A brand new shop has no score until it has sales history.
Above 150, and the seller must not be under temporary account restriction or have intellectual property violations.
No. TikTok says delegating LIVE operations to a creator, host or LIVE service provider does not transfer the seller's responsibility for products and orders, and eligibility still has to be met.
TikTok's restricted products policy says some categories are invite only and approval is never guaranteed. Surprise Set and Card Break have their own listing, display and distribution rules.
